Life As I Know It Is Beautiful

"God certainly is watching over all of us, his children. Everyday is a manifestation of a miracle, every morning is a world made anew, refreshed. His love is oveflowing, his grace is abundant, his mercy is profound and his sacrifices are unfathomable. But I neverendingly thank him for putting me in a place where I hope I'd be, in between these two lovely people who made my life lovelier as I know It.


I've a lot of catching up to do. Lately, I have been quite inspired to finish up some projects. Work commitments have been really overwhelming. My boss had been sick on and off since the last week, then I heard that he had pneumonia. So in the end, I need to do all the stuff that he does and now its neck deep. I have this natural tendency to forcefully complete all the tasks at hand, but now, I think it has to change. I need to just chill a little bit, and complete those that I can realistically can. Sorry for the blabber, Im not complaining, or do i sound like one? Im actually thankful that I have this wonderful job, though its tough to think about the flow of current, voltages, resistances and Ohm's Law for that matter but at the end of the day, I get to leave behind all of my problems in the office and go home peacefully everyday. Maybe except for those times when I need to present the next day on some critical projects. But to sum it all, this is quite a healthly work place to be.

So on to some scrappy stuff, I manage to finish a simple frame last night. After the recent trip we had, I'd been itching to scrap some layouts. Tons and tons of wonderful pictures that I cant wait to work with. We'll I've got to find another time though, and that would be another story... Til next time...

Spring has Sprung!

It was the start of springtime when we went to visit one of the world's finest winery ---Napa Valley's Roberto Mondavi. It was a bright sunny day with blue skies, greenest grass adorned with lovely flowers combined. I can not resist the tempting view of the flowers as they all call unto me. Spring! Spring! Are you for real?



I dont have much to say. Im speechless by just looking at these blooms.

Back after Hibernation

Hi... Im back after a long break. I have temporarily set aside my scisssors and my papers for the last 2 months. It was quite a long 2 months. I've been very busy since the beginning of January as we prepared for our trip to US to visit my sister in law, Icy and her family. We had to apply a visa, and since it took a ton of paper works to do, it had completely consumed 100% of whats in my mind. Then after Visa application was granted, then comes tons and tons of planning to do, on what to bring, what to buy, what to do, the itinerary and the list of must see places to visit. It has been a very memorable experience. Here are some glimpse of where we've been too. The trip had been a whirlwind. We started off in San Francisco, then drove off to Los Angeles to see Disneyland, Universal Studio, Hollywood then final stop over to Las Vegas to walk down the STRIP and be caught in the night madness as we traverse the busy street of LV with jaw-dropping scenes and magnificent edifice. And last but not the least the spectacular Hoover Dam near Arizona... It was a heck of a 2-week holiday. We we're racing after time... And I guess 2 weeks was not really enough. We missed the Grand Canyon. We definitely have to go back, someday, and see the other parts of America and hopefully wont leave any stone unturned.

Its Christmas...Soon!

I can smell it in the air...Christmas I mean... So to kickstart this festive season, we took our Christmas tree from hibernation, lit and adorned it with yummy ornaments. The reds and the golds are really captivating. I just love the grandeur look that it brings, the majestic preparation as we commemorate the birth of Jesus.

Last year was exciting, since it was our first Christmas in a place that now we call our own "Home". This year is a different kind of fun though, since our son now at 3 years and 10 months old learns to appreciate the fun of hanging the balls on the tree and decorating it. This year is very meaningful to us... I hope you look forward Christmastime with the same joy and love that this holiday season brings to you and your family...

This was supposed to be my entry for last month's ScrappersatSG September Baby layout challenge. But I've done it 2 days lapsed from deadline... Anyway, better late than never...

These photos were taken when we dropped by Tito & Jeannevev's place for a visit to their lovely daughter Michaella... And that was roughly 3 years ago... Oh my, how fast time flies!

Our Little Happy Family

First time doing a mini album and I'd never thought it could be this fun albeit stealing hours from sleep. Last night, my dear son slept early so I got the chance to play longer. I enjoyed the painting part, first time to use paints too. I've had so many "firsts" in this project. Ive been scratching to start on this when I got my Echo Park's Life is Good Kit about 2 weeks ago but couldnt find ample time to do so.

I find this kit's colors really pleasing to the eyes and easier to play with. This album is a work in progress so I still need to fill it in.

Just Swinging By

Just having fun one Sunday night, playing along with Card Patterns sketch 83. I used 6x6 paper pad for the coordinating cardstocks from Basic Grey, Swing girl stamped image from Unity stamps (thanks CJ for this!), metallic flower studs are from my bead stash from long time ago. This was fast, easy and can be easily replicated. Hope you had fun, 'cause I definitely did.

This time, Im sharing a little bit about me...

I seldom do a layout for myself, but Im giving this a shot. Most of my projects are either a picture of my son or a special gift project for a friend. I really find it easier to make one for others than of myself. Is that bad? Well, I hope not. But nevertheless, I made this little something about myself as a self portrait. And this is how I see myself.

I Dream.I Live.I Laugh.I Love. That's how I described my life. I just love my life so much, sometimes I feel guilty. Ive been asking myself and God over and over... "Have I really been this good to deserve the kind of life he gave me." But then again I realized God's love and generousity is immensed and unfathomable... I should just be thankful and grateful. And in return, do the same to others, to help and give unconditionally.

This is what I came up with. This was really fun to make.


This was a picture taken of my little boy one day at the playground. He was very happy playing with other kids while his daddy was so busy playing on his new toy --- a camera. Dad was a novice at photography during that time, now he's a notch higher.

Just a little keepsake for Matthew's teacher--- Teacher Tabitha, in appreciation of her hardwork and dedication teaching 3 year old children. September is almost here. Thus my subconscious is prodding me to make something special for a very special friend --- Mary Kate! She's not one of the Olsens, she's way way smarter than any of them. Ive known her since college, we used to call ourselves 'Charmed Ones'. It was a hit during that time. We were inseparable then along with Vench. She's smart ( actually, its an understatement), she's brilliant to say the least. She's a woman of true character, with a big heart, a loving spirit and a good soul. She might not know this but she is a person I always look up to with pure admiration for her kindness, generousity and wisdom. A true beauty inside and out. We are oceans apart but she remained the closest to my heart. I love you my friend. I wish and pray for all the love and the graces to continue coming your way. You know that so many people loves you, Im one of them.

Continue to count your blessings 'cause I never stopped counting you as one of the many blessings I have. Our friendship is one of my life's treasure... Happy happy Birthday Katie!
