The Perfect Catch

One random Saturday morning, we went to the nearby park and enjoyed the cozy breezy morning. Daddy and Matthew had a great time together playing Catch and Fall... Its amazing how little Matt gives his full trust that if he falls Dad is always behind to catch him... Being parents, as we now are, we readily extend our arms for our kids to catch them when they fall and even if they dont...

CMIT Featured Designer Challenge -- Summer is Over!

Summer is Over!

Maybe for some, but for the tropical Singapore we get to enjoy year-round of warm and scorching heat.

Here in Asia, kids are also officially back to school as the second semester commenced. Rainy season started kicking in as well. Some occasional downpour here and there, drizzle and scattered rainshowers. But generally, you can still get warm blushes from sun kissing your cheeks. Its still sunny here in Singapore, all year-round...

Last school break, we spent a day in the beach and enjoyed the summer breeze. And it was so great to see the fun and the excitement on my little boy as he played by the shore making sand castles, sand angel (his version of the snow angel, very clever!). And it was so hilarious to see him laughing like crazy as the sand tickles his tiny mighty feet. He's so ticklish and he's so cute.

So I made this mini-album with all those gorgeous photos we took last summer, actually pre-mother's day picnic and beach time...

Materials used: Echo Park Summer days collection Paper, American Crafts Dimensional stickers/rub ons - SPF, AC cardstock, TA mist, TimHoltz Distressed Ink.

Dream.Live.Laugh.Love

This time, Im sharing a little bit about me...

I seldom do a layout for myself, but Im giving this a shot. Most of my projects are either a picture of my son or a special gift project for a friend. I really find it easier to make one for others than of myself. Is that bad? Well, I hope not. But nevertheless, I made this little something about myself as a self portrait. And this is how I see myself.

I Dream.I Live.I Laugh.I Love. That's how I described my life. I just love my life so much, sometimes I feel guilty. Ive been asking myself and God over and over... "Have I really been this good to deserve the kind of life he gave me." But then again I realized God's love and generousity is immensed and unfathomable... I should just be thankful and grateful. And in return, do the same to others, to help and give unconditionally.

This is my take for Scrap-It-Lah's Scraplift Challenge. Layout has been scraplifted from DT Yatie's LO.

grins and giggles...

Cosmo cricket challenged us to create a layout inspired by their website page and use it as a sketch for our project. I must say the colors are really fresh and vibrant.

This is what I came up with. This was really fun to make.

This was a picture taken of my little boy one day at the playground. He was very happy playing with other kids while his daddy was so busy playing on his new toy --- a camera. Dad was a novice at photography during that time, now he's a notch higher.
